First and foremost, I am a marketer. From selling real estate in the '70s to founding and leading non-profit organizations and their programs in the '90s, I've served both customer and employer with one basic philosophy - it has to work for both of them, or it doesn't work. Period.

I like to create success. I've worked with individual entrepreneurs, government agencies, retailers, broadcasters, natural resource companies, post-secondary institutions, banks, scientists, manufacturers, politicians, land developers, and non-profit social, arts and business organizations.  I've sold broadcast and print advertising, often winning sales contests in the process.

I like people, and I like helping them. I've written a book (Influencing Public Opinion - A Handbook for Political Candidates, Community Activists, and Special Interest Group Spokespeople, ISBN 0-9697364-0-1), and I contribute to an online weekly newsletter for entrepreneurs (HomeBizNews, ISSN 1499-1160). I've also ghost-written course notes for a masters-level university program in leadership.

MY RESUME

Lorne's casual picture
I have a strong professional attitude,
extensive sales and marketing, public speaking,
media and political experience, and I love to write.
I'm currently working, in my spare time, on a screenplay
adaptation of a historical novel written by my father.

I like to create, motivate, and appreciate.
